The ME-4040-SFP-POE media converter is a type of plug-and-play unmanaged Ethernet switch, which features four RJ-45 ports for Cat-5 or better Ethernet connection and features one SFP port. It transfer data over duplex fiber at up to 1000 Mbps and connects to copper Ethernet at 10, 100, or 1000 Mbps Power over Ethernet (PoE) to standards-based PoE compliant devices such as IP cameras, wireless AP, VoIP phones, etc. The maximum distance for this switch depends upon the SFP module used.
