SFP to SFP Media/Mode Converter

This is a specialized configuration of our 3800 series media converters, which is configured with two ports for SFP modules. This unit can convert the fiber signal mode (singlemode/multimode/CWDM) and wavelength (850/1300/1310/1550nm) while extending a fiber connection. Both SFPs must operate at the same speed (1000Mbps, etc.). This device supports a full range of SFP modules offering various transmission speeds, from 10 Mbps to 2.5 Gbps. It has LEDs to monitor the power and fiber connections.

Please note that SFP modules must be purchased separately.
