Media Converter, Multimode Gigabit, 10/100/1000BaseTX to 1000BaseSX (SFP with LC), 220/550m

This is a very flexible media converter which allows the use of one or two SFP slots for mini-GBICs. It transfers data over fiber at 1000Mbps and connects to copper Ethernet at 10, 100 or 1000Mbps, while auto-sensing the correct speed. It has ample LEDs to monitor and diagnose its operation. Dip switches allow activation of LFP (Link Fault Passthru) to relay connection problems to other devices on the network. This version includes a module for multimode operation at 1000Mbps (850nm). The copper connector is a RJ-45, the fiber connectors are LC.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES
Link Fault Pass-Through (LFP) With LFP enabled (selectable by DIP-Switch at rear panel), if any segment cable is broken, both ports in each converter will be turned OFF, i.e. no Link LED. If all segment cables are well connected, both ports in each converter will be turned ON, i.e. Link LED.
